Sean Horvath understands what it takes to turn a good idea into something that works.
A business consultant, commercial strategist and storyteller, he helps organizations identify opportunities, make informed decisions and turn strategy into action.
For many years, his career has taken him into ultra luxury transportation, tourism, lodging, major sport, events, advertising and media. Working across these industries has given him a combination of commercial and operational insight. He understands how a business is positioned in the market, how customers experience it and what it takes behind the scenes to make things work.
His foundation was built in operations. He led limousine operations with talented teams, supporting 24/7 aircrew movements, VIPs, corporate clients and guests across a wide range of segments. High volume transportation became a specialty, allowing him to manage complex logistics associated with major sporting and special events, including the Calgary Stampede.
That experience naturally led into business development and commercial strategy. He has developed new business, created sponsorship initiatives and brought organizations together with audiences, partners and opportunities that could help them grow.
What ties these experiences together is a practical desire to understand how things work and find ways to make them better. Sean likes to ask questions, understand what is happening beneath the surface and find ways to move things forward. He brings that perspective to every client conversation.
His professional journey has created opportunities to work alongside organizations and people across tourism, business, media and events. His experience has been featured or recognized by CTV News, the Calgary Herald, Avenue Magazine, Tourism Calgary, Meeting Professionals International and Brand Magazine. His luxury hospitality credentials are further anchored by his time with two Michelin Key properties, as well as recognition by the elite international concierge society, Les Clefs d'Or.
Today, he works with organizations and leadership teams facing questions around growth, business development, commercial strategy, partnerships, operations and storytelling. He brings an outside perspective grounded in real world experience, helping leaders see the bigger picture while remaining focused on what can actually be accomplished.
His approach is straightforward.
Understand the business. Ask the right questions. Assess the premises. Identify an opportunity. Then build a practical path forward.
Sean currently serves on the board of, The Shakespeare Company, a registered charity supporting arts literacy. His previous industry and community leadership roles have included VP of Membership with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) GCC and Treasurer with the Cochrane Tourism Association. He has also served as an adjudicator and committee member for Travel Alberta, the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS), and Tourism Calgary.
The goal is simple: provide clarity, find the opportunity and help turn good ideas into meaningful action.
Sometimes you know exactly what you need. Other times, you know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start.
That’s where a conversation can help.
Sean brings experience, perspective and a practical approach to the table. He listens to where you are, understands where you want to go and explores what might be possible.
No complicated process. No one-size-fits-all solution. Just a thoughtful conversation about your business, your challenges and where you’d like to go next.
